Cheryl L. Moore Consulting, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides stormwater compliance training and related services, including FSESCI Tier I & II and MS4 Level I & II programs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit our website, register for courses, or otherwise interact with us.


1) Information We Collect

A. Information you provide directly

  • Registration & purchase details: name, email, phone, employer/organization, job title, billing details, course selections, and attendee information.
  • Communication: emails, form submissions, support requests, survey responses, and feedback.
  • Certification data (as applicable): course completions, attendance, exam outcomes, continuing education credits, and related documentation required for issuance/verification of certificates.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages      viewed, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, and clickstream data.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: small files to remember preferences and      improve site performance. See “Cookies” below.

C. Information from third parties

  • Payment processors & registration platforms: limited transaction metadata and status (we do not receive full payment card numbers).
  • Video/virtual platforms (for online classes): your display name, email, session participation (e.g., join/leave times), and chat messages as needed for  class administration.
  • Email & CRM tools: subscription status and engagement metrics (opens/clicks).
  • Certification/verification partners: where applicable to confirm or validate training status.

  

2) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide services: register you for classes, process payments, deliver course materials, administer exams, issue certificates, and support in‑person or virtual sessions.
  • Operate and improve the site: debugging, analytics, personalization, and optimizing the training calendar and registration flow.
  • Communicate with you: confirmations, reminders, updates, policy changes, and relevant training opportunities (you can opt‑out of marketing at any time).
  • Compliance: maintain records needed for regulatory, accreditation, and audit requirements related to stormwater training and certifications.

  • Training & certification partners: to issue, verify, or maintain your      certifications/records as required by program rules.
  • Event  venues/catering/security (in‑person): attendee lists when necessary for access control or accommodations.
  • Legal & safety: to comply with laws, court orders, enforce our terms, or      protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: for core site features (e.g., session management, form security).
  • Performance/analytics cookies: to understand how visitors use our site and improve it.

  • Training & certification records: retained to meet credentialing,      regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Transaction records: maintained per tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
  • Marketing data: kept until you opt‑out or your account becomes inactive for a reasonable period.
        When data is no longer needed, we will delete or de‑identify it in a      secure manner.

  

7) Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access/know what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete data, subject to lawful exceptions (e.g., required certification records).
  • Object/limit certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8) Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13(or under the age defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information (e.g., encrypted transport, role‑based access, and secure hosting). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use caution when sharing information online.

If you access our site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data‑protection laws. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

  • Marketing: we may send training updates, schedules, and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the message or by contacting us.
  • SMS (if used): message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt‑out.

  

13) Do Not Track & Global Privacy Controls

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” or similar signals. Our site currently does not respond to these signals. If your jurisdiction recognizes Global Privacy Controls (GPC) and we are required to honor them, we will do so where technically feasible.
