FSESCI TRAINING PROGRAM
Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector (FSESCI) Training Program
The Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector (FSESCI) Program provides state‑approved training for professionals responsible for selecting, installing, maintaining, and inspecting construction site Best Management Practices (BMPs). The certification is issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and is recognized statewide.
This program is designed for:
- Construction site inspectors
- Contractors and subcontractors
- Site superintendents and crew leaders
- Public works and municipal staff
- Engineers, consultants, and environmental professionals
- Anyone involved in land‑disturbing activities or stormwater compliance
Participants must complete both Tier I and Tier II coursework and pass the final exam with a minimum score of 70% to receive certification.
